SweeTango Coleslaw

1 SweeTango Apple cut into thin strips
2 cups thinly sliced green cabbage
½ cup thinly sliced purple cabbage
½ cup thinly sliced carrots

¼ cup orange juice
1 tsp. peeled fresh ginger, cut into small pieces
Juice of one lime
Salt and pepper to taste
¾ cup canola oil
2 tbsp. chopped cilantro


In a large bowl combine SweeTango apples, green cabbage, purple cabbage and sliced carrots.  Set aside.

Prepare dressing using a blender or handheld blender. Add orange juice, ginger, lime, salt and pepper.  Blend on low for 20 seconds, on the low setting slowly add oil in, once all the oil has been added blend in cilantro.

Pour dressing over apple mixture and serve.

Note: Do not use olive oil in the blender as the fast motion may cause it to turn bitter in taste.
