Slow-Cooker Baked Apples

Apples are one of the staples of fall cooking, and this delicious Slow Cooker Baked Apples recipe is ideal for either a dessert or serving up as a side dish.

Ingredients:
6-8 SweeTango apples- cored, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions:
Peel, core and slice apples. Add all ingredients to slow cooker and heat on medium for 4 hours, stirring after a couple of hours.

Turn heat to warm to keep the apples ready to go for serving.

Serve as a side dish or as a dessert.
